Who publishes this site, and why does it exist?

FirmTech publishes this site. It is one of a small number of websites FirmTech publishes, alongside its main store at getfirmtech.com. This one focuses on clinicians: product information, the provider program, wholesale, research and partnership contact, so practices can decide whether and how to offer FirmTech rings.

The business

What FirmTech does

Definition card

FirmTech in one paragraph

FirmTech sells doctor-designed erection rings for men seeking firmer, longer-lasting erections. Its rings are designed with leading urologists, use an anatomical peno-scrotal fit, and work without pills or a prescription. The TechRing ($275) adds sensors that measure erection firmness, quality and duration and track nighttime erections through an app; FirmTech describes it as "Smart tech for your manhood". The Performance Ring and MaxPR cost $60 each. All are sold online, and through partner clinics and stores.

Editorial stance

Is this site independent?

No. Everything here is written by FirmTech about its own products and programs. Rankings and comparisons cover only FirmTech rings and use FirmTech’s published product facts. Where we quote research or industry statistics, we name and link the source, and we never present an outside figure as FirmTech’s own.

FAQ

Common questions

Short answers to what clinicians and patients ask most. Read all 48 answers in the full FAQ.

What is a wearable ED device?

A wearable ED device is something a man wears on his body, rather than takes as a pill, to support erections or measure erectile function. FirmTech makes three: the TechRing, which adds sensors and an app, and the Performance Ring and MaxPR, which are constriction rings without electronics. All three are doctor designed and sit at the base of the penis and behind the testicles.

Is the TechRing a medical device?

FirmTech describes its rings as FDA registered and doctor designed with leading urologists. The TechRing is a constriction ring with built-in sensors that measure firmness, duration and nighttime erections and send that data to an app over Bluetooth. FirmTech says the recordings give users and their healthcare provider real data to help diagnose and manage cardiac and sexual health issues.

What is the FirmTech provider program?

It is FirmTech’s program for urologists, men’s health and sexual medicine clinics. Partners get partner pricing to stock rings in the clinic, permission-based access to patient TechRing data between visits, clinical resources such as published studies, patient handouts and fitting guidance, and a listing on the FirmTech location finder so patients can find the practice.
